for real estate & living

“I hired Jill to go into a new listing before the first open house.  She worked with the home owners for an hour walking through their home, room by room, making suggestions about de-cluttering, furniture placement and decor updates.  She followed-up promptly with a written report including labor referrals.  The home owners did everything she suggested for less than $1,000.  It worked!  The house sold at the first open house for full asking price!  I will definitely use her again.”

I created Go Room by Room to share my life-long love for color, style and design with you.  I am here to help you stage your home for resale or redesign for living.  I know you will love what I have to offer you and your home.

What is staging?

Staging is the process of preparing your home for sale; de-cluttering, cleaning, repairing, updating and maintaining.

Why stage your home?

Staging is proven to sell homes faster and for more money.  Make the first impression the best impression!

What is redesign?

Redesign is the rearrangement of your furniture and accessories to create an updated style that highlights the focal points of your home and creates a continuous flow of color and movement from room to room.

Why redesign your home?

Redesign can be for staging purposes to sell your home faster and for more money or for the purpose of improving and updating your home for day-to-day living.  You may feel the urge to update, but don’t want to spend the money it takes to hire an interior decorator.  You want to love your home and feel good about your space.

Why contact me?

Now is the right time to maximize the sale of your home in today’s real estate market.  Now is the time to update your home’s style on a budget.   Go room by room and make it happen!

The slide show below is before & after photos from a whole house renovation completed in 4 weeks.  This "old house" property underwent a much needed facelift with decor dating back to the 1950's - 1980's.  All walls were stripped of wallpaper, skim coated and repainted in a neutral "time-less" color palette.  The baths were taken down to the studs and refreshed in a classic New England style.  The kitchen transformation was done on a budget by replacing the counter tops with Formica, natural tile back splash, new stainless sink and faucet, and finally new cabinet hardware to update cabinets replaced in the 1980's.
